Nem tudo encaixa bem nesse exercício.

just (justo) To me my father is the fairest person I know. (muito estranho dizer "justest")

bitter - This drink is bitterer than that one.

real - Last night I had the most realistic dream I've ever had in all my life.

late (atrasado) - She is arrriving later and later each time.

wrong - Your grade is worse because your answers are wronger than his. (pouco usado--diriamos "more incorrect" ou "less correct")

right - Your exercises are not righter than mine. (pouquissimo usado -- diriamos "are no more correct than mine")

Quem inventou essas frases??

Concordo com você. As resposta dadas acima, retiradas de tabelas gramaticais, são muito teóricas - pouco naturais. Na prática, a sua linha de raciocínio é mais natural.

Minhas respostas saem da minha experiência falando inglês por muitos anos. Confiavelmente podemos dizer que expressões tais como "You are righter / wronger" não fazem sentido lógico, e portanto não são empregadas exceto para ênfase, por ex., em:

You couldn`t be more right / more wrong. (estar mais certo / mais errado)
This solution is more than just. (mais do que justa, correta)

Ao meu ver, temos aqui certos adjetivos que já significam algo "perfeito" e que geralmente não permitem um comparativo ou superlativo.

This drink is more bitter than that one. (doesn't sound so good)
This drink isn't as sweet as that one. (sounds much better)
Last night I had the most realistic dream I've ever had in all my life.
She is arrriving later and later each time.
Your grade is worse because your answers are not as correct as his.
Your exercises are just as correct as mine.

Whoever gave these sentences as exercises did not consider one very, very important aspect of giving examples of the English language... they must be realistic and useful. This type of exercise I give to very advanced students to test their translation techniques to make sure they are not translating 'word for word'.
