Yes, "it has" with "seventh seasons" wouldn´t right be in the same sentence, because "seventh" is a cardinal number (sétimo(a) ).
The correct wording is with an ordinal number: "this series has seven seasons" (esta série tem sete temporadas - e não "sétimas") is the right one, as NeyF has pointed out.
