A long time ago there was a green girl called Grinch. She lived on a magic mountain that nobody liked getting close to. She liked Brazilian food very much.
Englishman, algumas observações:
Em inglês, adjetivos vêm antes dos substantivos. Portanto, "menina verde" vira "green girl" (pobre menina, por sinal), "montanha mágica" vira "magic mountain" e assim por diante.
"Que", enquanto pronome relativo, é traduzido como "that" ou "which". "What" seria o nosso "o que". Portanto, "a montanha que ninguém gostava" seria "the mountain that nobody liked".
Sei que outras dúvidas surgirão, portanto sinta-se livre para utilizar este tópico ou o fórum para saná-las.

She have two friends, Mr. Grunch and Grunch Junior, always much eat carrot.

If it´s the same story, I would suggest you to stick to the verbal tense you began with, Englishman.
When you began by saying it was "ago" then it is in a past time, unless there is some twists in the reading, which doesn´t seems be the case in point.
-------------------------------
She had two friends, Mr. Grunch and Grunch Junior. Both, always ate much carrot.
Other aspect of it: the way it was, it wasn´t clear if she and the Grunts ate much carrot, or just the Grunts themselves did.

Ah, "adjetivos pátrios" and countries names always begin with CAPITAL letter.
So, we say Brazil, Brazilian, China, Chinese, France, French, Africa, African, America, American...and so on.
As you may have seen, that was corrected by Juliana.
