Correção de texto: A waiting room

A waiting room

It is a fairly small room. There is a two seater sofa back to the wall, an armchair in front of the sofa and another armchair back to the wall left to the sofa. The door is in the center of the wall right to the sofa. Also, there is a stand with a lot of newspapers and magazines, in the corner between the two armchairs. Moreover, there is a water filter in the corner between one of the armchairs and the door. The room has little natural light. There is only a window left to the sofa and next to the armchair. On the ceiling, there is a noisy fan cooling down the warm and stuffy air in the room.

My suggestions:

A waiting room

*This one is a fairly small room. There are a two-seater sofa and an armchair backed against the wall and another armchair in front of the sofa. The door is in the center of the wall **"right of the sofa". Also, there is a stand with a lot of newspapers and magazines in the corner, between the two armchairs, and a water filter in the other corner between one of the armchairs and the door. The room has little natural light. There is only a window on the left, next to the armchair. On the ceiling, there is a noisy fan cooling down the warm and stuffy air.

Comments:
*When you say "a waiting room" and "it is a fairly small room" you may imply that all waiting rooms are the same. Play safe and emphasise that particular room. A waiting room on a small train station may be small, but a waiting room in an airport, not.
**"Right of the sofa" means "adjacent to the sofa". The right or left side will depend on your position in the room; if you are standing in front of the sofa or sitting on it. Everything is relative to your position in the place.

There is a two-seater [1] sofa back to the wall an armchair in front of it, and on its left side another armchair, this one back to the wall. The door is on the right of the sofa and one can see a stand with a stack of newspapers and magazines...

(two-seater would my fave way, and found in many dictionaries)

Thanks Telma, I loved that explanation. Mainly that part "right of the sofa", thanks for elaborating on that topic, quite an insight!
