Correção de texto: In search for the perfect pronunciation

I have used some podcasts with its transcripts to help me with my pronunciation. Much as I train my pronunciation every day I still pronounce many words wrongly, I know because sometimes my american friends correct me or they get misunderstood by something I said. But, fortunately I had an Idea, me and my friend are taking texts from internet, and we record ourselves reading loudly, then we send this audio for each other, therefore, I can correct my friend's portuguese pronunciation and my friend corrects mine. I guess this is a great way to develop our speaking, maybe just speaking or listening ain't enough to pronounce everything correctly. This is my oppinion according to my experience though.

I have been listening to some podcasts and following their transcripts to help me improve my pronunciation. Even though I train my pronunciation every day I still mispronounce many words. I know that because sometimes my American friends misunderstand me, so they correct me. Fortunately though, I had an Idea, me and my friends are recording ourselves reading texts out loud from the internet, we then swap the audio files so I can correct my friend's portuguese pronunciation and my friend corrects mine in English. I guess that is a great way to improve our speaking skills, maybe just speaking or listening isn't enough to perfect your pronunciation. This is my opinion based on my experience though.
Friendly Tips
Me and my friends não está errado quando usado em escrita informal e é perfeitamente comum em Inglês falado, embora eu evitaria usa-lo em ambientes mais formais. Nesse caso eu diria My friends and I, ou Mrs. Jolie and I. Redseahorse sugerio usar " I and my friend ", a diferença entre "I and my friends" e "My friends and I" é uma questão de cortesia e estilo e não de gramática. Na escola, fui ensinado a sempre por EU por último. O motivo disso é que além "my friends and I" ser mais usado e fluir melhor do que "I and my friends", "My friends and I" e também considerado mais educado.
ain't - Eu evitaria usar AIN'T sempre que possível, a menos que você esteja escrevendo algo extremamente informal. Apensar de AIN'T ser usado no Inglês informal falado, eu também evitaria usa-lo. AIN'T é normalmente atribuído a 1-) marcador sócio-económico ou 2-) marcador regional. Você usando ain't pode acabar soando engraçado, como um Carioca tentando falar como Gaucho.
