Chinese journalist denounces a company crime and becomes a hero

The journalist run away after receive an information that the Suichang police was searching for him, informed the state-owned journal Global Times. The China media is rigorously controlled, but is gradually becoming more aggressive showing illegal conducts of corporations and authorities.

An online research made by Sina.com portal, that attracted more than 33 thousand answers, showed that 86% of the users see the police persecution as illegal, and 98% believe in the information of the report about Kan Specialities.

In the past month, the independent Economic Observer, one of the most respectful China's financial publication, published a communication defending Ziming. “We strongly condemn the use of public power to subdue and threaten the personal security of media professionals”, says the text. Um comunicado em inglês é frequentemente um "press release" ou "communiqué" (usado mais por orgãos oficiais), ou "announcement." Sendo já um jornal de que estamos falando, e, se tratando de opinião, então sugeri "editorial" (mesmo sentido em português). Mas, se não sabemos o tipo de artigo, vc poderia simplesmente dizer "issued a defense of Ziming", sem tentar estipular qual o tipo de coluna do jornal. Se não foi publicado no jornal, talvez "a press release".

São estas as opções, ambas corretas:
This is true. = Isto é verdadeiro.
This is the truth. = Isto é a verdade.

É possível:
This is truth; that is falsehood. = Isto é a verdade personificada, e aquilo a mentira.

Said and Told:

"What I wrote is true," said Ziming in a post...
"What I wrote is true," told Ziming in a post...

"Said" é preferido. "Told", usado assim, nos leva a pensar neste significado comum de "told": (exemplo:)

What was said told Ziming that... = O que foi dito levou Ziming a pensar que...
