Correção de texto "The kidney's main function is the..."

I wrote this text describing functions of three organs, kidney, lung and spine.

"The kidney's main function is the blood filtration and urine formation. The lung is the organ responsible by gas exchange between blood and ambient air. The function of the spine is sustaining and mobility of the body, maintain posture and so on."

Thanks for the corrections.

Algumas sugestões:

"The kidneys' main functions are blood filtration and urine formation. / The lung is the organ responsible for..../ The function of the spine is support and body mobility and also maintain posture..."

Recomendo procurar por um texto feito originalmente em inglês, desta forma fica mais simples, por se tratar de linguagem técnica/científica.
