The teaching of reading and writing is the subject of several studies and publications reflecting a constant concern of educators and researchers with the teaching of these skills. In Brazil, however, there are not assessment tools for reading level to which the educator can use, or large studies that describe how long it takes for children to progress in this area. Search this study was to find strategies that help teachers to help their students in reading achievement.
Working with children is really gratifying. In day-to-day in the classroom, we are challenged all the time. And it is this challenge that makes things possible. Search what we do not know to build with the children the learning that makes us reflect on our profession.
The educator must be prepared to fill in the gaps they are cognitive, emotional, social or psycho. The student comes to school eager to learn, to know more than he knows, he's hungry to learn, to know, speak and listen. It is this desire to keep the educator on. It is the desire expressed in the act of teaching that the educator involves the student in her passion for learning. “Ensinar e aprender são movidos pelo desejo e pela paixão”. (FREIRE, 1992, p.11)”
