Hi Diogo Felipe.

I just see that post now, but your story is very interesting for me, cause I've been study english since 2012 too and first I'd just studied in my course. When I completed the level 2, I saw that I needed to study very hard, cause just the course were not enough to learn english. Thenceforward I begins my studies with PodCats, lyrics, books in english and TV series, and now I can say that it really can improve your english.

So, have a nice study!

Just a little comment on your piece of text...if I may!

I just have seen that post now, but your story is very interesting for me, 'cause [because or 'cause, but not cause] I've been studying English since 2012 too. And at first I'd just studied at my course.
When I completed the level 2, I saw that I needed to study very hard, 'cause [again, not "cause" ] just the classes were not enough to learn English. Since then/and from then onwards [Thenceforward, overly formal and outdated usage] I began studying with the aid of PodCats, lyrics, books in English and TV series. Now I can say that this/they really can improve your English skills.

Yeah, the rule of thumb still holds, that is, 'cuz would be the right way.
Running a search within Google we see both ways, but as always as you remember, don´t use without the apostrophe sign.

While on the subject, 'cuz is highly informal, to many people it´s overly so. Thus, if you are writing to a Forum, say, from the UK, don´t ever use it. They are very fond of their language and aren´t happy with outsiders tripping on it like this.

It´s fine with and among friends, anyway it´s advisable to know if they are as informal as you are.

As you can see from the search, it´s very common within music world.
