Does people, Do people / How'd find me
Hi there!
Today I got two doubts, first: how could I ask this?
Does people do it? Or
Do people do it?
I suppose the correct is "Do" cause it's plural, am I right?
Second: how'd find me? / how'd know about it?
"how'd" letter 'd' here, isn't a contraction of would? I don't understand why this sentence refers to past: Como você me encontrou? Why not ask like this: How did you find me?
If I Translate that, I had "Como você me encontraria?"

Dicas:
Do people do it? (forma correta)
As pessoas fazem isto?
How'd find me? = How did you find me?
How'd know about it? = How did you know about it?
A contração 'd pode referir-se, dependendo do contexto, a três auxiliares: would, did e had. No caso de "did", é comum, em linguagem informal, o uso de expressões como how'd, where'd, what'd, contrações de how did, where did, what did.
Ainda temos "had better" (I'd better, you'd better, he'd better, she'd better, etc).
E, por último, o mais lembrado: would (I'd like, you'd go, he'd see, she'd put, etc.)
Bons estudos.
