A.'Be able to' pode ser usado no lugar de 'can',onde este ficaria gramaticalmente inviável(incorreto).Vejam exemplos:

1.You will be able to understand it soon.(Você logo vai conseguir entender isto.)==>Não diga "You will can understand it soon".
2.I won´t be able to come.(Eu não vou poder vir.)==>Não diga "I won´t can come".
3.You have to be able to drive.(Você tem que saber dirigir.)==>Não diga "You have to can drive".
4.They might be able to explain it to you.(Eles podem saber te explicar isto.)==>Não diga "They might can explain it to you".
