Some questions:

6)a --> ok
vejo algumas situações em que "b" pode ser possível
ex: num restaurante, após fazer uma reserva, o atendente te diz: "We wait until 10, after that we cancel the reservation"

7)a --> ok
mas, em vez de for poderia ser to? (damned prepositions...)

Olá Pessoal,

Flávia você está correta no que diz respeito ao item número 6.Mas quanto ao item 7, o verbo "buy" pede a preposição "for" ao falarmos "comprar algo para alguém."Para fixar melhor vejam os exemplos:
