Fazer perguntas com HE (ele)

Olá pessoal, em livro diz o seguinte:

Does he love? Did he love? Will he love? Would he love? Has he loved?

A minha pergunta é a seguinte, o verbo "love" junto com "he" não deveria ser "loved"?

O certo não seria, então:

Does he loves? Did he loves? Will he loves? Would he loves?

Eu não entendi isso.
Obrigado.

Does he love? Did he love? Will he love ... he loved?

In English when you makes questions with auxiliary verb DO, so with DO/DOES/DID, the auxiliary "kills" the "s" in third person.
It kills the "ed" of the verb tense, so the verb gets in the base form WORK/LOVE/DREAM, etc... (not - worked, loved, dreamed...)

It seems strange to the learner, since he/she has learned that with the third person one uses "s" and with the verb tense being in the past one
Uses "ed" in the end of it (end of the verb, I mean).

So, summing up:
DO and DOES is never used for the past.
DO/DOES and DID is used to make questions (para fazer perguntas). And then the verb in the sentence is used in its base form (in other words, in the infinitive form).
DO/DOES and DID is used to make negative statements (para elaborar frases negativas).

That said, with negative statements and questions (with DO/DOES/DID - but not when we do that with the verb TO BE), the verb gets into infinitive (the bare form).

So, back to the crux (of the matter):
No the verb shouldn't be "loves" in such case.
Does he love.
Did he love.

Finally, with the auxiliary WILL the same happens with the verb, to that effect you can think WOULD is the same as using DO/DOES/DID. That is, it will "kill" the "s" of the verb:

Would he love.
