As fórmulas de Excel seguem o modelo "=função()", onde "função" é o que se deseja calcular em seguida, nos parâmetros que virão entre parênteses.
Segue abaixo uma lista de equivalentes português-inglês para as funções mais comuns.
Soma=Sum
Media=Average
Se=If
Arred=Round
Arred.para cima=Roundup
Arred.para.baixo-Rounddown
Somase=Sumif
Concatenar=Concatenate
Procv=Vlookup

Yes, média ponderada. Very used by cost accountants, to calculate stock variation.
Median = mediana (I studied it at college and never used for anything)

Flávia, what the devil is "weighted average" in Portuguese? Is it "média ponderada"?

Well, it's very useful in dissecting "facts" such as "average income has risen appreciably," if the growth in that income is all on the wealthy side. The median is the better measure of overall benefits and fairness. Or a firm whose "average" sale has grown enormously, but the number is distorted by one customer's unusual purchases. Etc.

I, too, never saw any practical use for the median--not unless I wanted to ascertain who or what precisely stands in the middle of a long line, for example.
