Gotta: Como utilizar
Hello everyone,
Gostaria de saber como e quando usar a palavra "Gotta" ? E o que ela significa?
E quando usar To set ou To Put ?
São duvidas de um iniciante! Thanks a lot!

Olá Thiago,
1. "Gotta" é usado em linguagem informal. Veja alguns exemplos:
I have got to eat = I've got to eat = I gotta eat = I have to eat = Eu tenho que comer.
I have got to think = I've got to think = I gotta think= I have to think = Eu tenho que pensar
Gotta é informal e equivale a "ter que" - ter que comer, pensar, trabalhar, etc.
2. Set: Ajustar, acertar, marcar, etc.
Ex: To set the date for the wedding. (Marcar a data do casamento.)
3. Put: Colocar
Ex: Where did you put it? (Onde você colocou isto?)

Olá Thiago,
Whose eyes are those?(De quem são aqueles olhos?)-->"Whom" são faz sentido neste caso.
Whose: De quem,cujo.
Ex:A man whose name was unknown.(Um homem cujo nome era desconhecido.)
Whom: Quem,a quem(muito comum em linguagem formal)
Ex:I don´t know to whom you are talking.(Eu não sei com quem você está falando.)=I don´t know who you are talking to.-->Menos formal.

E pra praticar um pouquinho, nada melhor que música:
"Desree - You gotta be"
"You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, you gotta be wiser
You gotta be hard, you gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger
You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm, you gotta stay together
All i know, all i know, love will save the day"
