Here's x Here are: Qual a diferença

Daniel Reis 2 16
Gostaria de saber se a regra de singular e plural também vale para expressões com o "here".

Ex:

Here's two things I would like to show you.

Ou

Here are two things I would like to show you.

Valeus

Sim, o verbo precisa estar no plural.

Ex: Here are the two cars I was telling you about.

The rule of thumb is, find the subject after the verb (in your case the noun) if he is plural it will take a plural verb (were). Otherwise, it would take a singular one.
Thus,
"Here are two things that I would like to show you."
will be what you look for.
To further searching, the topic is subject-verb agreement.

Salve, Daniel! O correto gramaticalmente é "here's" para substantivo no singular e "here are" para substantivos no plural. Porém na linguagem coloquial usa-se o "here's" para os dois. O mesmo acontece com "there is" e "there are". Em conversas cotidianas você vai escutar "there's" usado com substantivos no plural. Novamente, isso acontece na linguagem informal.

Obrigado pelas respostas pessoal.

E sim, é verdade Adirfer, a algum tempo venho notando exatamente isso o que você apontou, principalmente quando usam there is com substantivos no plural.
