We can turn on some communication resources. They are the proverbs and the idioms. Some of them are quite old-fashioned which helps us to make the conversation funnier. A good example is the expression as plain as the nose on your face.
(Podemos apelar a alguns recursos de comunicação. São os ditados populares e as expressões idiomáticas. Alguns até um tanto fora de moda, o que torna uma conversa mais descontraída. A expressão as plain as the nose on your face é um bom exemplo disso.

The expression is also used ironically and humurous way. In this case, we should say: as clear as mud.
(A expressão também é usada com ironia ou de maneira hilária. Neste caso, deveríamos dizer: as clear as mud.)

Father: "Have you already learned the Lord's Prayer by heart?" = "Você já decorou o Pai Nosso?"
Son: "Oh, yeah! As clear as mud!". = "Ah, sim! Óbvio! / Claro! / Com certeza! / Tão claro como o leite.
