If x Whether: no discurso indireto (reported speech)

Hello everyone,

Could you help me, please?

The sentence "Would you like to go out tonight?", in indirect form could be:

He asked whether she'd like to go out that night.

and

He asked if she'd like to go out that night.

My question is:
Could I use both indirect form or no?

Thx in advance!

Hey! As duas formas estão corretas:

''He asked whether she'd like to go out'' ou ''He asked if she'd like to go out''
