Lately I have listened some pod cast's of the site English as a Second Language!
In the first way I would adore recommending ti to all of you, it is really good!
Now it's time for my question.
I heard two sentence very similar that I don't know what means and how to use perfectly.

In light of your illness, I won't consider your absences on your final grade.
In the face of = confronted with
The goverment backed down in the face of such strong poll-tax protests.
In the face of danger... run!

However once of your answers appear the word "such".
Can you me explain the perfectly utilziation of this one???
