In the game x at the game x on the game: Qual utilizar
Hello everyone
Are these sentences bellow correct?
She won a bronze medal on the last game.
She didn't win a medal on the game last year.
My doubt is that if the preposition correct is "IN the last game" / "in the game" rather than "ON the last game" / "on the game"
Who could explain it to me?
Thx in advance.

Pensei em algo como:
"Maria won a bronze medallion at the game last year/at last year's game."
Mas vamos aguardar outras sugestões.

Me esqueci de dizer a outra frase em inglês:
1. "Maria failed to win a medal(lion) at the game last year/at last year's game."
2. "M didn't win a medal(lion) at..."
Na frase 1 Maria concorreu à medalha, mas não consegui ganhá-la (provavelmente por fraco desempenho). Na frase 2 Maria simplesmente não ganhou a medalha (provavelmente por não ter concorrido a ela).

Então a preposition correta é at?
Isso.
De uma maneira geral, "in", "at" e "on" combinam com "game". Confira exemplos de uso retirados de fontes seguras.

I see all the combinations as an interesting game many can play at. Or join in, depending on how they look at it. We use the appropriate prepositions the context requires, as Donay's examples well illustrate it. Little, however, did me and my big ideas think of the other prepositions nor a manner or befitting occasions in which we should use them. Até logo.
