with no shred of doubt, the Doctors.
They have the Hand of God with them.
Heal people is most honorable than create any machine or transfer knowledge.

For me is the teacher, because they are the pillar of our future.

In my humble opinion the most honorable profission is to teach due to they are the responsable for knownledge of everybody. I used to learn a lot of things on interweb but most people which use to put or just writing anything on interweb don't know or consider theirselves teachers that in truth they are. So, doctors, nurses, scientists, fireman, politician and so on are or will be one due to there are people to teach or write books(which are teachers) or have anything to say you which you will get knowing. With few words the teachers are the secreats of world development.

I have to agree with all of you. Doctors, nurses, teachers, firefighters, all of them are honorable professions.

It's a good question. In my opinion, I believe they are teachers.

In my opinion aircraft mechanic technic, because they can't get wrong.

Well, as my friends told, teachers and doctors (medicine) are very useful for our society, without them we are nothing, just a people waiting for its own failure, but I think there are professions more honorable like who HAVE TO do tasks that graduated people don't want to do, it's not a judge. For instance, cleaning streets or public bathrooms, picking up our trash. People whose do these tasks do the most honorable profession.

Teaching is a essential profession, but, we can live without teachers for more than one month, but, we can live for one week without people cleaning streets and picking up our trash? For sure, without this kind of professionals, mices will live around us and with us!!!

Nevertheless, all professions are essentials and there's no reasion to be shamed of anyone.

I guess that the most honorable profession are all of those that involves research, because what would humanity be without science?

Certainly Doctors ,because they need study a lot near always and work a lot.In adiction the doctors have offer helping for people when it need.

I agree with JH Nascimento and his comment about Fukushima... in my opinion, the most honorable professions are the ones where people sacrifice their own well-being for the sake of helping others.

A very good friend of mine, the man who was my first real mentor, was part of the Soviet military in 1986 and he almost got sent to Chernobyl... they ended up not calling on him, but he also didn't volunteer.

I can't blame him, I don't know if I would have the courage!

To me, the most honorable profession is to be a teacher. Professors, around the world, are suffering with devaluation and nobody stop a second to think that they are the base of our society. Everybody needs a teacher to get anywhere, be it a profession, be it the start of a university.

In my opinion, the most honorable and also blessed profession, is fireman.
Because the firemen save a lot of lives in danger or too close to the death. Besides of saving lives, the most emotional moment is when the familiars of the vitms thank a lot the fireman that saved the day.

Well, I think that psychologists are the most understandable people in this world. Because.. just stop and stare: you can count on with them at anytime, even it's just possible with marked hour.. but it is a detail. They are so talkative, so cool, and patient... like, they are like your mom can't be, like.. any of your friends can't be, I mean.. they know what to do when you're needing a rescue! I guess.

There's no doubt that the most important is doing your job honestly, and that all jobs are necessary, but some jobs I think that worthy of praise:
-Policeman: we heard lots of bad things about them, but certainly they are indispensable. And a policeman needs to risk his (or her) life, put up with people who don't have any sense and do a hard work, while half the society criticize them.
-Volunteers: how can I not talk about people who work for the sake of the others and nothing more? Particularly those who go to poor countries to do their works, far from home or volunteer physicians which could earns lots of money, but decides to not. And, above all, the heroes of Fukushima, because one really needs to be brave to expose one's life to radiation having no obligation to do that.
-Teachers and psycologists: because a good professional of these two needs to be patient and learn something new everyday, because they have the power to transform people, and this can change the world.

There are a lot of honorable professions, but I think the two most honorable professions are: teacher and doctor (medicine).

The teacher form the persons of the future, they teach you, they give you the necessary education to move on, to make your dream real, to find a job and be the best employee, and I think they must be more respected.

The doctor, of course, heals persons, they save people, they're like Gods, the doctor brings the life back, they extend the people's life, which can give you more time and opportunity to correct your mistakes you did in your whole life, more time to realize your dreams and forgive the person you hurt.

I think all these must be respected.

In my opinion the teachers make the difference. All the professionals started like a student, and a teacher done a hard work in this process! Although, all the professions and jobs have their importance, and is almost impossible to rank the levels.

Certainly, firefighters, teachers and doctors deserve our full respect.

I think that Nurses, FireFighters and Teachers are honorables professions in Brazil, because are hard professions and the payment are very lower.
