hi, in the music of Mariah Carey - Hero, why she don't used inside in two cases?

I think the point here is that "inside" means the location (dentro do seu coração), while "into" has a meaning of direction.
Quem atinge (reach), atinge a algum lugar: para dentro seu sua alma (into your soul).
Someone please correct me if I am wrong...
