Issue x Subject x Article: Qual utilizar

Good morning,

Shall we take a look on the meanings of these nouns first?

1. issue
- questão; número, edição de uma revista

Ex.: Tom raised the issue of the membership fees.
Tom leventou a questão das mensalidades.

* uma questão a ser resolvida; algo em pauta; algo pendente.

2. subject
- assunto; matéria; objeto de uma pesquisa; de um estudo
- súdito(a)
- sujeito (Gramática)

Ex.: Tom took a book on the subject.
Tom pegou um livro sobre o assunto.

* termo genérico para se referir ao tema que está em discussão; que precisa ser discutido.

3. article
- artigo de jornal, revista, etc.;
- objeto; artigo;
- artigo (Gramática).

Ex.: Tom found (the article about) an article of furniture on sale yesterday.
Tom encontrou (o artigo sobre) um móvel à venda ontem.
