It's better for them to break up/breaking up
Hello guys, how are you?
Today, I would like to bother you a little bit.
There's a sentence I've been having trouble finishing and I'd appreciate your help (if you want to)
The sentence is: "É melhor que eles terminem"
Which one is the correct form?
"It's better for them to break up" or "it's better for them breaking up"?
Could I use both?
I would love your help
Best wishes!

I'd suggest you this one:
"It's better for them to break up"
Due to the fact I find the second one a bit strange at that case.
Regards!
