I'm trying to find any information on it, but so far the only mention of it is "hump", which doesn't sound like anything you would find in a butcher shop. Can you find the latin name for the muscle? Then I can try to find it in my NAMP Meat Buyer's Guide.

This would be hard to find in most butcher shops, so unless you need it for a translation job, I suggest you choose something else for dinner! ;)

Hello everybody!

My name is Jéssica, I'm from Rio de Janeiro and I'm learning English – language that I love, no more than Portuguese, but I love. :)

This morning, I was just searching about food over the internet when I found this great website, which helped me a lot. So to start my participation here, already like a member, I'll collaborate with this topic.

During the searches I read in the Merriam Dictionary the entries for "meat" and 3 of them caught my attention:

1 - “White meat”;
2 - “Black meat” and
3 - “Red meat”.

Check theirs definitions in Portuguese:
1 - carne que vem do peito ou outras partes espessas de um frango, peru, etc.; carne que é de cor mais clara que as outras partes quando cozida.
2 - carne das pernas e coxas de frangos, perus, patos, etc.
3 - carne que é vermelha quando crua - usada principalmente para se referir a carne bovina.

I hope it's helpful to everyone.

So long.
Aqui na Índia camarão é Prawn, talvez porque falam inglês britânico, sei lá!

As far as I know, people us prawn and shrimp interchangeably, but I think prawns are bigger.

And I've never heard of 'black' meat, just 'dark' meat. White meat comes from a chicken's breast or wing, dark meat comes from the thigh and leg.

Sorry, I wrote the wrong word. :o
It isn't "Black meat", the correct is "Dark meat".

Wiener (ˈwiːnə ) or wienerwurst (ˈwiːnəˌwɜːst )
(US & Canadian) a kind of smoked beef or pork sausage, similar to a frankfurter. Also called: wienie, weenie, (ˈwiːnɪ ).
Collins Dictionary

Exemplo:
Chicago has a big wiener problem.
In this May 7, 2014 photo, an employee at Hot Doug's prepares an order at the gourmet hot dog diner in Chicago. Owner Doug Sohn announced he's shutting the doors of his diner in October after nearly 14 years. It was bad news for locals who wait an hour to get inside and wiener fans from around the country have turned the establishment into a must-stop destination. [...]
