May have x Must have x Might have: Qual a diferença
Good evening to everybody!
I wish I could have some explanation about the differences among "may have + past participle", "must have + past participle" and "might have + past participle", used to indicate probability or possibility about the past.
Thanks for your attention,
Raquel

"I asked her to send this photo, but as you haven´t received it yet, after so many days, I suppose she may have forgotten to send it".
Ela pode ter esquecido
"I asked her to send this photo, but as I can see it on the table, she must have forgotten."
Ela deve ter esquecido
"She´s so lazy, I might have thought she would do it"
Eu poderia ter imaginado que ela faria isso.

Agnes

Raquel,
Para mim, "may/might have" sugerem uma possibilidade parecida."Must have" é usado para se fazer deduções baseadas em uma evidência, onde "must" indica uma possibilidade maior.
She may/might have seen it.(Pode ser que ela tenha visto.)
She must have seen it.(Ela deve ter visto.)
Bons estudos!
