Nasty x Disgusting: Qual é a diferença?

Na verdade podem ser e são sinônimos.
Eu diria que "disgusting" é mais direto e um tanto quanto mais formal, vemos "nasty" com mais frequência.
"Nasty" é muito usado desde algo que nós parece desagradável até algo literalmente nojento, também pode ter alguns outros usos como "vulgar", "moralmente inadequado", etc alguns significados bastante informais.
Já "Disgusting' é sempre usado quando algo nos parece "repulsivo" ou "extremamente desagradável" é, portanto, mais categórico.

Nasty

Highly unpleasant, especially to the senses; physically nauseating:
Plastic bags burn with a nasty, acrid smell

Repugnant to the mind; morally
Her stories are very nasty, full of murder and violence
