...Eu só quero é sobreviver (no sentido de "com o pouco que tenho/com o que tenho/com o que ganho etc")
...tudo o que quero é "poder me virar".

A música sugere por meio da ilustração, que cada um tem seus interesses, cada um quer algo.
e o que ele (o cantor) quer apenas viver com o que tem, viver com pouco, sem exigir muito.
Ir vivendo, sem pedir muito, sem muita pretensão de ter ou lutar cegamente por muito conforto, fama etc, viver com desapego, viver simplesmente. Em contraste com os exemplos dados na letra da música.

If you live on less than ten Reais a day, you just can get by. (that is, you just live payment from payment. it´s difficult to make ends meet.)
When you are in the beggining, getting the hang of speaking English, you can´t express yourself as fluent as a native speaker, but you can get by.

(você se expressa como pode, você fala com o que tem, você fala "mais ou menos" mas consegue alguma coisa...você se safa, fala o que pode com o que já sabe...etc)
I am not good at it, but I can get by.
Não sou bom nisso, mas consigo me virar/me virar bem.
