O uso do pronome "it"
Sempre vejo pessoas escrevendo "is" sem o "it", por exemplo: Is true. Mas isso é errado. Em inglês, não se pode usar frases sem o sujeito, a não ser que tenha um substantivo no início. Então, o certo é "It's true". Não esqueça: It's true.

Mas, nesse caso, o "Is true" seria uma pergunta: É verdade? Enquanto ao It's true, seria uma afirmativa: Isso é verdade. Se eu-lhe perguntar: "O it pode ser usado para pronomes demonstrativos?", o que você responderia?
Formas mais recomendadas:
It is true. [É verdade.]
Is it true?[É verdade?]
It isn't true. [Não é verdade.]
Sim. "It" pode ser usado como demonstrativo.
''It and that are both demonstrative pronouns in English Grammar. Anyhow, they are used differently when it comes to grammatical peculiarities. Look at the two sentences, ‘he looks at it’ and ‘he looks at that’. In the first sentence the demonstrative pronoun ‘it’ indicates something which is near. On the other hand the demonstrative pronoun ‘that’ in the second sentence indicates something which is far.
Hence it is to be understood that while ‘it’ indicates something near, the demonstrative pronoun ‘that’ indicates something far. This is one of the major differences between ‘it’ and ‘that’.''

Penso que sim, Aline.
As pessoas muitas vezes deixam de usar o "IT" por falta de conhecimento gramátical, ou por abto.
Gramaticalmente é necessário o sujeito, mas muita das vezes, os próprios nativos, não o utilizam. Normal.
