Only pode ser usado como "É que"?
"'Scuse me, but is one of you Mr H Potter? Only I got about an 'undred of these at the front desk"
O que "only" significa nesse caso?

POWER QUESTIONS
I think it could also be replaced by "I simply got about an 'undred of these at the front desk", where "simply" means something that you have recalled at the time of speaking (not about simplicity per se).
I'm simply stating the facts.
Tom was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Or the Merriam has a "near related" word to "only" that is "also/additionaly":
So, again, something said in addition to what is being stated.
Anyway "é que" seems like somehow covering all the bases.
