Antes eu vi no dicionário que "Deviled" significa 'muito apimentado' ,mas,não faz tanto sentido nesse caso. Uma vez que eles falam para colocar pimenta a gosto...

When I was a "moleque", I used to eat sandwiches of "deviled meat". The meat came in small cans and was more or less a paste. I came to hate the taste of it! Deviled eggs are delicious and are quite common at parties.
