Passando da voz ativa para voz passiva
Olá,
Observem o seguinte trecho: "Fed up with a customer who continuously sent his fried potatoes back, saying that they were soggy and not crunchy enough...
Este trecho "They were soggy..." é Active Voice, certo? Então, como transformá-lo em Passive Voice? Obrigado!

Amigo, nas vozes ativa e passiva você busca a ação. Quem a faz e quem a recebe. Nessa sua frase em negrito não há ação alguma. A ação está em "sent his fried potatoes back". Até porque, se você traduzir a parte em negrito, temos: they were soggy = elas (as batatas) estavam úmidas/moles. Transforme isso para a passiva! Onde está a ação aí? Será que seria "umedeceram-se as batatas"? Não.
Vamos lá:
"Fed up with a customer who continuously sent his fried potatoes back, saying that they were soggy and not crunchy enough..."
Transformando (uma das formas possíveis):
Saying that they were soggy and not crunchy, the fried potatoes were continuously sent back by a costumer the (shop) owner was fed up with.

Rapaz, que resposta ótima. Muito obrigado. Até!
No caso "soggy" é um adjetivo, portanto não recebe uma ação. É importante manter o mesmo significado ao converter a voz ativa para a voz passiva e vice-versa.
Minha tentativa:
"Fed up with a customer, who continuously sent his fried potatoes back, saying that they were soggy and not crunchy enough." (active voice)
It has been said by a customer, who I'm fed up with, that the fried potatoes that were continuously sent back by him were soggy and not crunchy enough. (passive voice)
