Things that kids like: colours, music, photos or pictures, drawings and to draw,
to communicate - listening a something and reacting to it - you could make questions like what is it? what collour is it? no need to them know that structure in English, but if you point out to something certainly they instinctively will answer you (saying what collor they think it is.)http://supersimplelearning.com/resource ... year-olds/http://supersimplelearning.com/resource ... orksheets/
I think that, for a first, the "level one" and some "level two" activities would suit them.
There are some CDs that comes along with some books for that kind of teaching as well, generally exploring easy musical themes (or sounds), songs the likes we see in Brazilian schools "o sapo não lava o pé..." etchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpCeMySBE_c
This one, the monkeys´ song I bet you have heard in Portuguese...it certainly will have an appeal, not only to the kids, but their parents will like seeing their children enjoying it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx1NcLZBZ1khttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRJ4X9oqwVU
