Nowadays, the dealth penalty is one of the most controversial topics. Some people are favor and others are against. In some countries, like Brazil, there's no death penalty, and others, like United States, there is in some states.
The people who are favor defend the dealth penalty decreases the crimes rate. Because the criminals who commited the violent felonies won't commit that again. E it will be example to others to not do the same thing.
The people who are against defend the dealth penalty don't decrease the crimes rate. Because noboby thinks about the crime consequences when commited one. And they argue as well in the danger of convict innocent people to death, because it's unusual judgement mistakes.
Someone said once that: I can have the better punishment to the crime, but it's the most important is to avoid the crime happens. The truth is: it is too difficult to get that, but no punishment is enough to repair all the damages.

The people who are PRO-DEATH PENALTIES SUPPORT THE IDEA OF DECREASING CRIMES RATE THROUGH THAT, because the criminals who HAD commited violent felonies won't DO that again, THEREFORE, it WOULD be AN example to others DO not do the same thing.
The people who OPPOSE the dealth penalty LAW ARGUE THAT DOESN´T decrease the crimes rate, because noboby thinks about the crime consequences when COMMITTING one, and they argue THAT IT COULD LEAD TO THE RISK OF ERROR OF EXECUTING innocent people to death AS WELL, because IN FACT, SOMETIMES SOME unusual judgement mistakes HAPPEN.
