Como perguntar a medida de algo?

Como perguntar quanto mede algo, em inglês? Por exemplo, se eu quero saber a altura de uma pessoa, eu pergunto "How tall are you/is he?" ou "What's your/his height?". Já se eu quero saber o comprimento de um campo de futebol, eu pergunto "How long is a football field?". Agora, se eu quiser perguntar quanto mede um animal ou objeto, por exemplo, eu não usaria "how long", nem "how tall", né... Qual seria a maneira mais usual de perguntar, então? Sei q poderia perguntar "What is the size of a baby panda?", mas, estaria correto perguntar "How much does a baby panda measure?" ou "What's the measurement of a baby panda?", por exemplo, ou soa estranho? Qual seria o termo mais adequado pra fazer essa pergunta?

More often use the word "height" to ask about inanimate objects (a table) and "how taller...is/are..." to living things.
But tall also has an element of emphasis, a sense of 'above average' height, in case of human beings.
Another rule of thumb is: we use "tall" to mean things that are large and thin in their shape. But to a person both meanings would intersect and you could ask that with both words.
"What´s the height of the table?" would be natural and common English.

Olá, PPaulo, obrigada pela resposta, mas, acho q não me expressei mto claramente.
O termo Tall é relacionado a altura. No caso, eu estava querendo me referir ao comprimento de um animal ou objeto (nesse caso, o exemplo do baby panda não foi mto adequado, já q um urso panda tem altura e largura). Mas, e se eu quisesse perguntar o tamanho (comprimento) de um bicho tipo uma cobra ou uma barata ou de um lençol? Eu usaria "What's the length of the cockroach" mesmo?
