Can it be "muster strength" too?
Hello Yeahwilliam,
You could say;"muster the courage"."Muster strength" is also accepatable considering that "strength" is often used as a synonym of "courage"
Bye! See ya! Good luck!

Exemplo: It takes a lot of guts to do such a thing.(É preciso muita coragem pra se fazer uma coisa dessas.)
Bye! See ya!

Outras possibilidades:

To build up the courage to...
To pluck up the courage to...
To muster (up) the courage to...
To gather (up) the courage to...

Excellent suggestions, Andy. I was going to add "to build up the courage to..." You beat me to it!
In addition to "to have the guts to...", in somewhat vulgar English you will hear "to have the balls to..." Surprisingly, you will often hear a Spanish word in the USA such as "huevos" and "cojones" used on television, in films, in conversations, etc. I have not heard "agallas" in the USA, although this expression is quite common in Spanish.
