I gotta tell ya! Recording only the audio is much more easier than making a video. You should try it!

As to this "much more easier" Raphael mentions on his podcast, I did a quick hunt on the net and found out many accredited entries for "much + more + adjective" (for example "much more interesting"), which leads me to reason that at least colloquially that should be correct (yet in his case much more easy would sound better).

Hopefully some other members will help us clarify this matter. Let's wait

Na verdade, eternal_learner, o more não pode ser usado nesse caso por se tratar do que chamamos de "adjetivo curto".
O Rafael já havia feito usado o comparativo "mais" qdo acrescentou o er no final de easy.

Talvez fosse interessante também falar como criar o podcast, eu tive esta dificuldade e outras pessoas podem também ter.

As configurações citadas eu não encontrei no programa, mas mesmo sem alterar as preferências deu certo.

Ficou péssimo meu Podcast, não consegui apenas falar, só lendo, mas mesmo assim ficou terrível. De qualquer maneira estou enviando. Talvez fosse melhor começar enviando apenas frases, o que acham? Não estou preparada ainda para falar.

Se eu pudesse "rasgar" a tela toda vez que alguém vem aqui com a moral baixa desse jeito, eu juro que rasgaria. “Péssimo” e “terrível” são os podcasts que não existem, daquelas pessoas que não se esforçam e têm medo de começar - ou você acha que todo mundo que fala inglês já nasceu fluente e com a pronúncia perfeita? Parabéns pelo desempenho, eu entendi tudo o que você disse e, caso queira, segue sugestão de um link onde você pode escrever seus textos e ouvir uma “máquina” pronunciando, daí você pode imitar até se sentir mais segura com sua pronúncia.
À propósito, a idéia de ler um texto preparado previamente é muito boa, pois você vai acostumando a fala até deixar as coisas fluírem mais naturalmente.

Cara, tá muito legal o seu podcast( isso me inspirou a fazer um podcast) e dá pra entender tudo. Uma coisa interessante no aprendizado de qualquer coisa é a seguinte: quanto mais se erra se aprende. Alguns de seus erros foram mostrados aqui, o que faz com que no seu próximo podcast eles sejam menos usados. Parabéns pelo seu podcast e pra motivar a galera a fazerem mais, vou fazer o meu bem em breve e com video.

Só vcs para levantar a moral da gente. Na hora de gravar "quase" eu desisti, pensei em esperar um pouco mais, quando estivesse com mais fluência. Mas agora vcs me animaram, vou tentar fazer isso com mais frequência. E Flávia, gostei da idéia do link.

Bom, resolvi também tentar falar, depois de algumas edições pra tirar alguns erros, ficou até que aceitável, mas eu senti uma grande dificuldade porque não estava acompanhando nada, também não consegui pronunciar direto algumas palavras, como: nacionality, comfortable, o verbo "to think", que pra mim pareceu que eu tava falando "thank", e também no "I don't really..." eu ia dizer uma coisa, mas aí mudei duma hora pra outra, e ficou "I don't really am used to" (lol, tudo errado), mas é isso aí!

Your English is perfect!

DHST, your pronunciation is exceptional! I know Brazilians that have lived in the US for many years and your pronunciation is much much better than theirs. Of course, some words could be better, but overall A+.

I'll try to write the words the way they sound to give you an idea of how to improve, but it might not be exact.
Word: You said -> You should say
used: iusséd -> iúzd , try not to pronounce the e
accent: éccÉnt -> Éccént , make sure to stress the a
would: prounce the 'w' more
nationality: nacionality -> nachionality
basic: bêsic -> bêssic , /s/ not /z/
vocabulary: voquebuláry -> voquÉbiuléry
limited: limíted -> límited , you pronounce the 'i' correct but stress the wrong one
equivalent: equivalent -> eqüivalent
slow/strong - I can't really describe how to improve these

I wrote a lot about how you can improve, but don't worry because your errors are almost non-existent. Seriously, if you keep your pronunciation but talk faster, you would almost be a native speaker! You have the most natural sounding American accent I've heard from a Brazilian.

As to the slow/ strong...Do you mean it is pronounced as though "estrong" and "eslow"? If so, it'd make sense since this "e" sound in words which doesn't have an "e" is something most Brazilians "struggle" with when pronouncing words beginning with "s". In such case, I usually try to practice by using the tongue twister "Sea shells sea shells by the sea shore" lol

It consists of a project with similar purpose to this thread, in that the main objective is that Brazilians showcase their English pronunciation, share it with others, get feedback and ultimately boost their English skills.

I suggest that you guys should check out this Brazilian girl and others who take part in this project:

(I have to confess I was jaw-dropped when I checked the girl on the video - her English is so good!)

(this video shows a Brazilian capable of impersonating a variety of accents)

they sound like native speakers!

I just think you could speak a little bit slow. Sometimes you`re saying a word and then you start to say another word but you didn`t finished the last one. So it makes hard to understand what you said.
