Praise x prays x preys
Olá Pessoal,
Os termos "praise"(elogiar,louvar),"prays"(rezar, terceira pessoa),e "preys"(presas) podem ter a mesma pronúncia.
a)Did you praise her?(Você a elogiou?)
b)He prays every day.(Ele reza todos os dias.)
c)The lion and its preys.(O leão e suas presas.)

I would say that there is a small difference between praise and the other words.
Praise has a "z-like" sound, whereas the others have a softer (s-like) sound. Like in close (adjective - klos) and close (verb - kloz).
But this is a very subtle difference. I have asked some native speakers and only after much insistence that they realised and agreed there is a small difference, so nothing to worry about!
