Eu fico p da vida quando não encontro nos dicionários uma tradução oficial.

Desta vez também não encontrei.
Só achei definições, como:

Realmente é difícil achar uma tradução unânime. Eu entendo como sendo algo parecido com um grande "improvisador", porque no fundo é o que ele faz com os sons.

Scat é um estilo musical que utiliza sílabas , tipo, pa ra ta ta ta ti bum, e men seria homem. Ou seja, homem sílaba. Ao meu entender pode ser comparado com Eminem para o rap, ou seja, o melhor naquele ritmo

Scatman é um cantor. John Paul Larkin conhecido como "Scatman", criou um estilo único de musica, misturando scat singing e techno. Ficou famoso pelo seu hit "Scatman (ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop)". Sendo bem sincero, essa musica fica na cabeça, então cuidado quando for ouvir. Kkkk
