Questões sobre o vocabulário do filme "Don't Breathe"
Hey Guys !
Last night I was watching the movie "Don't Breathe" ("O Homem nas Trevas" in portuguese).
Near the end of the movie, the character say:
Can I use Can't rather than cannot?
Does the tense(tempo verbal?) is it correct ? I mean, "do once he accepts" should be "Will do, once he accepts" ?
Thanks for the explanation, I am really sorry about my bad English, but I am trying write without any help of translator .

My tips!
"Não há nada que um homem não possa fazer uma vez que aceite o fato de que deus não existe."
Suas perguntas, deixe-me ver se entendi
O Oxford Dictionary diz:
"Both the one-word form cannot and the two-word form can not are acceptable, but cannot is more common (in the Oxford English Corpus, three times as common). The two-word form is better only in a construction in which not is part of a set phrase, such as ‘not only ... But (also)’: Paul can not only sing well, but he also paints brilliantly." (The in bold parts were included OK!)

"Will", poderia ser usado caso o modal can/can't/cannot/can not não fosse usado. O sentido mudaria "slitghtly" pois que este tense daria uma idéia ou de futuro ou de conclusão lógica (fará, faça). Também poderíamos usar o "Would" dando uma ideia de condicional (faria). Tudo depende do que se quer dizer, mas a princípio a frase inicial me parece correta.
Espero ter ajudado.
Cheers!
