Rip off x Steal: qual a diferença?
Pessoal,
Thanks in advance!!

(If I rip something off, I steal something and vice versa.)
"To rip off" is slang. It has the additional meaning of "to cheat".
When I came home last night, I saw that someone had ripped me off, taking the TV and a stereo.

He promised to pay me for the work on his car, but he ripped me off. He's some place in North Dakota now, spending my money and laughing at me.
She said the watch was gold, but she ripped me off; it was just yellow metal.

Complementando:
Steal: roubar, furtar.
Rip off: surrupiar, lalar, mocozar. - gíria - slang
Bons estudos!
