Should we buy organic food instead of mass produced food?

Organic foods are made in a way that limits or excludes the use of synthetic materials during production. For the vast majority of human history, agriculture can be described as organic; only during the 20th century was a large supply of new synthetic chemicals introduced to the food supply. This more recent style of production is referred to as "conventional." Under organic production, the use of conventional non-organic pesticides, insecticides and herbicides is greatly restricted and saved as a last resort.

Question: Should we buy organic food instead of mass produced food?

Answer:
Yes, we should, once it is much better for our health. But they are also more expensive and, to be honest, I really don't know how to identify or even how to assure that a product I buy at the supermarket is really organic or not.

Now it's your turn!

When I get into the supermarket I like to buy things that I most like to eat, does not matter the cost. Well, I've never noticed what is organic or not, for me it's not important. But, for more care of our health we should buy and consume more organic food, in other hand, as I said previously I don't care about it.
I think everyone should eat healthy food no matter how much they have to pay for it. In our time there is a culture of junk food, fast food, because mostly of people "don't have time enough" to do their work, so they have to eat fast and so on. There is a search that says when we drink soda, we get old faster. I know it's extremely difficult to stop drinking soda for example. When we turn on our TV, it's showing to us what "people"/companies want we do. However we have to avoid drinking it.

I think that's it. If I forgot something either you don't agree with me, please, write here

I hope I was clear enough and could help

hmm... Why couldn't organic food be mass produced?
I mean... we(Brazilian pple) own this huge forest, the Amazon rainforest, a place full of life, full of unknown substances.
Government should just support scientists a little bit more than it does, and then we would see wonderful things happening, there must be some natural alternatives to those harmful pesticides.
And i'm not supporting clearings, since scientists are also able to make organic compounds become synthetic.
(Am I hoping too much from scientists?)

Maybe if we bought a lot of organic food it would become cheaper and there would be improvements and mass procuction!

well, my answer is: Yes IF this kind of food was more affordable.

Yes, we should. The organic food is by far more healthy due to the absence of agroquemicals on it, and in addition to that its tastier and normally more nutritious. Unfortunately, it's still too expensive and it's not largely available in Brazil.

Ailime,

I think this might work slightly better.

Bill,

yes, of course. It was "it`s" instead of "its" and "widely available" instead of "largely available".
In addition to that, lack of comma...
Thanks!!
I guess.. not. Because we have ever eaten things not organical, or not too organical. But we have to eat healthy foods, like salads and grilled chicken, to keep our body and our health healthy.

Isabella,

I am not sure what you are trying to say here but I am going to try to rewrite your post to say what I think you are trying to say.

"I guess not, because we have always eaten mass produced foods. But we have to eat healthy foods, like salads and grilled chicken to keep our body healthy."

The correct terms are organic or mass produced, the phrase and our health healthy is redundant.

Overall, you have a good grasp of English for such a young lady and with some hard work and study you have great potential.

Hi,

If you buy organic food, you're also contributing to have cleaner water, because in this way it's being used less polluting chemical products, mainly on the farms. Besides that, all soils will be healthier too. So, if soils are healthier, they will also produce healthier foods!

That's it!

It's important to buy both of them, because mass produced food is not necessarily harmful as long as organic food is not necessarily more nutritious.
