In fact, in English I don´t use it much, indeed very rarely so.
Perhaps because of my old notion of "stative verbs". And I think many Brazilian people (English enthusiasts) would say the same thing.
In a jerk-knee (instinctive) way I got to the grammar and it came as a surprise, the term is right and has nothing against the verb being estative. Indeed it is used to
