Então, gostaria de saber o que significa essa expressão que encontrei na música "Eye of the tiger - Survivor" no trecho:

To stack the odds in someone's favor
Definition: to make it more likely for someone to win, succeed, etc.
>> mexer os pauzinhos a favor de alguém.
No texto não consta se é '...to stack the odds in someone's favor' ou '...against'. Para mim, SMJ, dá a entender que é '...contra' (...against): "Eles criam tantas dificuldades até não aguentarmos mais a não ser ir às ruas."
To stack the odds against (someone)
Definition: to make it less likely for someone to win, succeed, etc.
'His drug use was stacking the odds against him giving him no chance of finding a good job.'
