Tease x Taunt: Qual a diferença

Nat 1 3
I'm in doubt between using tease or taunt...
would be it related with "teasing is important for a healthy relationship; taunting is never acceptable"
is there a difference? :!: thank you!

According to Yahoo! Answers website, yes.

Google has a lot of hits on it
Tease > Provocar no sentido de excitar. Um trailer de filme é um teaser. Serve para deixar o público excitado e na expectativa de ver o filme.

Taunt > Tentar aborrecer a pessoa dizendo coisas desagradáveis, escarnecer, provocar no mau sentido.

Sua frase, nesse caso, faz todo o sentido. ( :

Pessoal,

"Tease" e "taunt" podem ter sentidos parecidos no que diz respeito a "implicar","fazer gozação de".No sentido de provocar sexualmente, "tease" é o mais adequado.

To taunt usually has a very negative connotation.
They taunted the prisoners, promising them food and then breaking their word.
They taunted the chained dog until the poor thing bit them.
They yelled insults at the soccer referee, taunting him in an effort to anger him.

To tease, however, is often quite innocent, harmless, and the "victim" is often a friend or relative.
He teased his friend about the loss of the Chilean team.
His name was Nana, and his friends teased him, saying it was a girl's name.
We teased our mother for being so short.
