Qual tempo verbal usar quando quero falar sobre ações que ocorreram várias vezes no passado e que encerrou no passado?

O "would" também pode ser usado pra dizer coisas que se fazia num passado mais distante.
When I was a kid, I would play with my brothers.

Here it doesn't necessarily have the 'repeatedly/frequently' component you mentioned, it might express 'enjoyment in itself'. But being something you like, it will be something you will do again and again, what I am saying it's the focus at first may be on the enjoyment thing.
