Hi, there! I'd like to learn what the best way to say this is:
- I didn't have time to call my boss.
- I didn't have the time to call my boss.
I've heard both ways, but I'd like to know when to use "the time", and if it really matters.

I think it doesn´t really matter which one you use.I have the impression that the first one needs "any",but it still seems ok the way you made it.
