To/For e At/In: Qual a diferença

Quero matar dois coelhos em uma patada só.
I want to kill two rabbits on single shot.

Queria saber onde se deve empregar o to e o for(qual a diferença).
Queria saber o mesmo do at/in.

Thank you!

Matar dois coelhos em inglês é diferente:

"To kill two birds with one stone"
(matar dois pássaros com uma pedra/da)

Já to/for me dá arrepios, mas vamos tentar (na minha opinião):

'To' significa direção, destino, e é usado com o verbo na forma original.

I go to Angra to relax. (eu vou à angra pra relaxar)
Do it to me. (faça-o pra mim)

No caso do 'for', soa mais como um 'por' e é usado antes de nomes (nouns) ou substantivos, no caso. No caso de verbos, sempre uso 'ing'.

I go to Angra for relaxing. (eu vou à angra pra relaxar)
Do it for me. (faça-o por mim)

Pra confundir, ou ajudar:

Give it to her for me.

A dupla At/In é outra confusão:

In significa INside (dentro). Algo INserido.
I'm in the office.

At significa lugar específico.
I'm in the office, at the computer.

In school significa que você está lá, mas talvez com outro propósito.
At school significa que você está lá, estudando.

Bem, acho que é assim.

Yes! As far as "I'm on the computer", Google's 1,090,000 impressive results totally agree with you!

The vast majority of (non-)native speakers of English do sometimes say "I'm on the computer" to mean "I'm using the computer".

They also commonly use the expressions "I'm in the office" and "at the computer" at any given time of the day. Even in their sleep.
