To not x not to x for not: Qual utilizar
I saw this setence: "Becareful to not damage the paint." Could I also say "Be careful for not damaging the paint" ? If not, what is the rule which justifies the first one as the wright way of saying?

Dicas:
Sugiro usar "be careful not to", "be careful to not" me parece usado, porém menos natural. Não recomendo "be careful for not...". Não há uma regra, o convívio com o idioma te diz como é.
