Para dizer "Bolsista" em inglês, existe a opção:

Scholarship student

Ex.: As a scholarship student at The University of Memphis, you are required to perform a certain number of service hours in order to keep your scholarship.

Bons estudos.

My suggestion: Fellow.

Bye!
SCHOLAR (n.) = letrado; bolsista

Dependendo do contexto pode significar outras coisas. :D
Breckenfeld escreveu:Fellow.
Mas como eu uso isso na frase? Poderia dar um exemplo, por favor?

Tudo depende do contexto, pode ser scholarship holder, fellow e scholar.

"He holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa and did post-graduate studies at the University of Oxford, in the United Kingdom, where he was a Rhodes Scholar."

"This is a young man who is a good scholar and, as members will see, he is a very enterprising young man as well. "

"Peter J. Lu is a post-doctoral research fellow in the department of physics at Harvard University. "

"The university will be responsible for making regular payments to the scholarship holder for the NSERC and host organization portions of the scholarship. "

Muitas vezes ficamos presos à tradução literal.

Creio que melhor que dizer:

He is a scholarship student ou holder.

Poderíamos dizer:

He holds a scholarship at the University of Florida(for example).

A opção scholarship student é natural e ocorre com frequência em inglês, entre nativos.

Entre as muitas ocorrências de publicações internacionais:
  • The role of a scholarship student. (Brunel University London)
  • The position of a student who gains this financial aid. C. (as modifier): a scholarship student. (dictionary.com)
Scholarship student é uma tradução literal, porém perfeitamente válida.

Como complemento:

Scholarship student - Wordreference

That's it!

You could say I have a scholarship, but I'm a scholarship student is also acceptable. A scholar is anyone who is studying something and has nothing to do with whether or not you have a scholarship.

TIA!
Até!

After having been awarded the grant, a student can be also called a (student) grantee. Fullbright, for instance, designate them like this.

Melissa, I would do as the Brazilian cientist on Nature (a science magazine) did:

As presidents of the Brazilian Association for the Advancement of Science and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, we object to your negative perspective on CAPES, our education ministry's agency for the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Nature 500, 510–511; 2013).

So, Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel Agency would do, on a paper (academical work).

It´s a pattern, they do that in other languages as well (the following from English to German) for institutions or works (books, etc).
https://style.mla.org/english-language-quotations/

Of course, the first mention of the institution was translated, but was not (and it´s not) necessary from then on:
...
Other indicators that CAPES evaluates include recognition of faculty members’ research by the international community; the coherence, consistency and comprehensiveness of the curriculum and infrastructure for teaching, research and continuing education;...

In a resume/CV would be good practice too, at least I think so.

Ooops! I did it again.
A Science magazine (not 'science' as it was, using lower case capitalization before)

And then I have to ask you guys to excuse me:
A science when said in general, but Science when meaning the academical subject. Similar to the 'sience book' in general or about Science as an academical thing.

It´s my fault here. But then, I also make mistakes now and then! ;-) Please please, don´t sue me for that, I have children to raise. :-)
